Sign Up for Cross-Country
We are officially ONE WEEK AWAY from the start of the CHSAA season! With this being the case, every single member of the CV X-Country family has two tasks they must complete by this Friday:
- Register for the fall (CHSAA) Cross Country season before FRIDAY, AUGUST 6TH
- Athletic Registration
- Please don't give Coach Lyons and Coach Marshall a heart attack by waiting until Friday evening to register
- Get EXCITED for what WE will make the best season in CV history, as we prepare to have BOTH boys and girls teams qualify for the State Cross Country meet as well as every member hit their own personal excellence!

Unfortunately, the Mags run will have to be delayed to another Saturday (maybe in November!). With school pictures happening for Freshman and Sophomores on Saturday, it did not make sense to leave that many athletes out of such a great opportunity. Waterton is a great run as well and quite a bit closer for those who need to get back in time for pictures. If you read this before 4pm on Friday, rumor has it that you can show up to the schol and get your picture taken early (not a bad idea for Fr/Soph). Show up to Waterton by 6:50 Saturday morning to watch the men's 1500m Olympic final with your teammates!
*The whole family is still very much encouraged to come and enjoy this awesome trail! However, dogs are not allowed on the trail.
Middle Schoolers
Sadly, we must say goodbye to our Middle School runners for the fall after this week. However, we will welcome them back for the winter track season. As we approach that season, we will post more information right here on the blog. Check back the first week of November for this information. Thank you MS parents for a great summer conditioning and we hope to see your athletes at some middle school meets!
