Here is all the information you need for tomorrow's meet:
When: Friday, August 28th. Boys Race @ 4:30, Girls @ 5:15
-Please arrive exactly 50 minutes early, and meet at the bleachers to begin the warm-up. This means 3:40 for boys, and 4:35 for girls.
- Please note that athletes will have only 30 minutes to cool-down after they finish their race. CSHAA was very specific in their ruling that
athletes could not linger on the course after their race. If an athlete needs more time to finish their cool-down, they can run to Butterfield park to do stretching/ drills
Where: Castle View HS
Who: Castle View vs. Douglas County HS
What else?
- MASKS: Athletes must have a mask, and must wear their masks up to the starting line. Once they are on the line, athletes will be
instructed to remove their masks. They can put them around their wrists, their upper arms, or hold it in their hands. I saw pictures of
meets from last weekend, and athletes from around the state used one of these three techniques.
- SPECTATORS: Athletes will be allowed 2 spectators. For the sake of our season, please make sure that there are not more than 2
attending spectators per athlete. Masks and social distancing regulations will be required and enforced. Thank you for understanding.
- Remote Viewing: A reminder that the meet will be streamed lived (to the best of our capabilities) on our Instagram Live. If you are not already, follow the account here: https://www.instagram.com/castle_view_cross_country/?hl=en
