Shoes: All athletes should start the summer with a fresh pair of professionally fitted running shoes. Getting a gait analysis and a quality pair of shoes is one of the easiest ways to prevent injury and ensure running feels good. RNK Running in Parker is having a special through June 15 where all athletes participating in a summer conditioning program through their schools can get 15% off trainers.
Watch: Athletes should purchase a watch to bring to practice every day. GPS is not necessary, just a stopwatch feature. A basic Timex works great!
Water Bottle: It's hot! Bring a water bottle to every practice to prevent dehydration!
