We encourage everyone planning to run XC in the fall to sign up. Running consistently over the summer helps prevent injury, improves fitness for the competitive season and is fun! It's a great opportunity for first year athletes to get to know their teammates and build confidence for their first high school (or middle school) season and it's the best way for more experienced athletes to continue to build up their fitness and strength.

The Plan:
Summer conditioning will meet at CV on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7:30. After running those days we will head to the weight room until 10.
On Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays we will meet at local trailheads from 7:30-9am. A schedule of where we will be meeting will be sent out to those that sign up next week.
Staying up to Date:
We make regular blog posts on the XC website to help parents and athletes find the information they need. Please keep an eye out for the blog post at the start of each week so you know the plan!
Camping Trip:
Our annual camping trip plan is in the works, however the dates we had previously chosen now conflict with freshman orientation and Link Crew training. We are now planning to move our camping trip to the week of July 22. We will send out more details as soon as they are available.
Cross Country Schedule:
Most of the schedule for next season can be found at cvxc.weebly.com. If you scroll to the bottom of the mail page you ca find our calendar. Please note that one or two meets may be added or dates changed as we get closer to the season.
